Data We Collect

Minimal Data Collection: We collect minimal data to provide our service:

  • Analytics Data: We use Ahrefs Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (page views, referrers, device types). This data is anonymized and aggregated.
  • No User Accounts: We do not require registration or user accounts.
  • No Server Storage: Your cover letters and form inputs are NOT stored on our servers.

Local Storage (Your Browser)

All your data stays in YOUR browser using IndexedDB:

  • Generated cover letters
  • Form inputs and preferences
  • Generation history (last 20 entries)

You control this data completely. You can clear it anytime through your browser settings or our History page.

AI Processing

When you generate a cover letter:

  • Your inputs (job title, company name, qualifications) are sent to our server
  • We process them through Vercel AI Gateway (OpenAI GPT-5-nano)
  • The generated letter is returned to your browser
  • We do NOT store your inputs or generated letters on our servers

Third-Party Services

  • Vercel AI Gateway: Processes AI generation requests. Data is not retained after processing.
  • Ahrefs Analytics: Anonymous traffic analytics.

Your Rights

Since we don't store your personal data on servers, there's nothing for us to delete or modify. You control all your data locally in your browser.
