How it writes a letter that sounds like you
You bring the facts
Upload your résumé or type the job title, company and two or three real results. The writer is told to use only what you give it, so nothing is invented for you to explain in an interview.
We read the job ad
Paste the posting and we pull out its key terms in your browser, instantly. The writer reuses the ones your background supports, in the employer's own words, which is what applicant tracking systems scan for.
You check and polish
Matched terms are highlighted and missing ones listed. Edit in place, rewrite shorter or warmer with one tap, then run it through the cover letter checker.

Frequently asked questions
Is this AI cover letter generator really free?
Yes. There is no account, no trial and no paywall. You can generate, rewrite, copy and download as many letters as you need. A fair-use limit of about 20 requests per 10 minutes stops abuse.
Will the AI make things up about me?
It is instructed to use only the facts you type in and never to invent employers, numbers or qualifications. Language models can still slip, so read the letter and check every claim before you send it.
What makes a cover letter ATS-friendly?
Plain paragraphs without tables, columns or images; the exact job title; and the key skills from the job description written the way the employer wrote them. Paste the job ad and we pull out its key terms, highlight the ones your letter uses and list the ones it misses.
Can I download my cover letter as a PDF?
Yes. After the letter is written you can copy it, download it as a PDF (US Letter, Times, one-inch margins) or as plain text for pasting into application forms.
Where are my letters stored?
Your last 20 letters and your draft inputs are saved only in your own browser (localStorage) so you can come back to them. We have no accounts and no database. You can clear them any time with "Clear history".
Can it write a cover letter from my résumé?
Yes. Upload your résumé (PDF, Word .docx, text or a photo) and the AI pulls out your title, strongest results, skills and education into the experience box. Check and trim it, add the job ad, then generate. The file is read once to make that summary and is not stored.
How is this different from Grammarly, Canva or résumé builders?
No account or trial is needed, nothing is behind a paywall, and the letter is checked against the actual job ad: you see which of its key terms you used and which you missed. Most other free generators either ask you to sign up or produce one generic draft with no keyword check.
What should I put in the prompt for a better letter?
The exact job title, the company, two or three results with numbers, the tools you use, and the full job description. One sentence on why you want this company makes the biggest difference to how personal it sounds.
How long does it take?
Usually 10–25 seconds. The letter streams in as it is written, so you can start reading straight away.
Should I send the letter exactly as generated?
Treat it as a strong first draft. Add one detail only you could know (why this company, a person you spoke to, a product you use) and it will read as yours. Recruiters notice.
